Why Rust?

Rust is a modern, safe and high-performance programming language. It is ideal for building demanding software such as graphics engines, operating systems and embedded applications. Rust provides an advanced type system that prevents common mistakes, giving you a statistically more reliable system from the very first release.

Why work with me

I have been working with Rust since version 1.36, released back in 2019. I have built dozens of different applications with Rust for the most varied use cases, from blockchain to embedded systems and web microservices. I am also the maintainer of several important open source Rust libraries, including the main FTP library for Rust, and the author of termscp, used by thousands of users around the world.

Where do I use Rust?

I use Rust across many domains, including high-performance web applications through frameworks and tools such as Axum, Actix and sqlx, embedded systems, command-line tools and blockchain applications. Rust's versatility lets me take on a wide range of projects while always guaranteeing efficiency, safety and scalability.
